Hello Medium

Hello everyone. Today I start my journey on Medium. I’m a true believer of trying new things and also my life philosophy is “if you’re having fun with the process, you’re never late to the end”. I’ll write for nobody and also for everybody.

I’m living in Turkey, one of the most beautiful places to live on earth. I have 25+ years of experience in internal audit, internal control, enterprise risk management and strategic management. I’ve written 4 books and helped more than 100 companies thrive on setting the strategy and managing risks.

For the last 13 years I’ve been serving clients all over the word as a management consultant and a business advisor. I serve as independent board member for public and non-public compainies in Turkey and I’m also an entrepreneur. I have been part of 3 tech start-ups as their cofounder or investor, that are doing exceptionally well.

I’m here to share my thoughts on managing businesses in these turbulent times. I’ll try to inspire business leaders on becoming better captains during their stormy passages by providing them with experiences and practical tools.
